Bulong Estate is located in the Upper Yarra Valley, an area recognised as being one of the best in the Yarra Valley for the production of high quality cool climate grapes.

Since 1995 we have been growing grapes here and the Estate has been dedicated to making high quality wine since 2002.

Bulong Estate is now a destination in its own right. With spectacular views to the Yarra Ranges and Mount Donna Buang, the Winery, Cellar door and Restaurant is the perfect place to relax with quality food and wine.

Bulong Estate is a fabulous place to celebrate your special occasion. We are suited to small to medium functions and we are more than happy for you to hold your Wedding ceremony in our garden with the vines and mountains as a backdrop free of charge.

Any occasion..
We can help you celebrate any special occasion, or business function, on weekends or during the week. You have exclusive use of our Restaurant and our chef will work with you to create a menu suitable to your occasion.

News and Events



We have the same great view and the same great wine but a few things have changed.
Matt Carter, wine maker, continues to make our award wining estate wine, but he also takes on the added responsiblity of General Manager.

In the restaurant, Pete Mathewson, formerly of Paperbark cafe at Kurangai Nursery, takes on the role of restaurant manager.

In the kitchen we have a new team, Chef Steve Wilson and apprentice Gemma Smith. Both are locals and keen to impress with their new menu.

Check out Chef Steve's delicious Autumn Menu. With some lovely warming dishes, perfect as the weather gets cooler. Of course there is everyone's favourites such as a good steak and few interesting things I would like to the 'Lime and black pepper tart with chilli caramel sauce'.
